I’ve been having this recurring dream. It’s not actually a dream, per se, rather a recurring video music. I must admit it’s rather funny to have a music video as a dream but it’s happened several times so I figured I would share with my Daughtry friends.
The song I have the dream/video about is for “You Don’t Belong” and is both a conceptual video and a performance video with the bandmates participating in both. The video takes place in a hazy bar with the band performing on stage. In between cuts of the band performing, we see each bandmate playing characters that each have an addiction towards a different vice – gambling, alcohol, meth, drugs, the ladies. The video shows them at their lowest moments, falling for their vices, and showing the awful impact they have on them. Eventually, they ‘see the light’ and are able to overcome their addictions.
I love the song “You Don’t Belong” and usually jam to it on the way to school in the morning as it also wakes me up. I also have been watching Intervention lately and I think the two have blended up in my dreams. LOL
